“ココロノカタチ ”

I spent my last evening in Tokyo (this year) with DAZZLE! at Club Phase
well there were other bands there as well but my main reason for going was
DAZZLE!

The more you hear a band, you can tell pretty soon if they are having a so-so evening,
a good one or a great one.. this time I was just WOWed from the get go!
Tsuyoshi was swirling around from the very first song,
JUN was powerful, determined and strong,
ATSUMI was totally with it, involving his whole body and passion,
and in the back you could see a smiling energetic Takayuki on the drums!
It was a promising start and they kept that power level their whole whole gig thru!

Also both me and Nata (who came with me) liked the lights at Club Phase.
As you all might be aware of, stage lighting is one of my standing complaints and pet peeves! I cannot say they were perfect tonight, but way better than what I have experienced lately. There is nothing worse than having lights directed straight at you in the audience, so you are blinded all while the performing artists on stage probably see you better than you see them. Anyway so not the case tonight! Lights were OK!

Sound was also OK and I really liked the set list by DAZZLE! tonight..

Actually I really liked the night… I enjoyed myself and was totally swept away… so much that I forgot all about leaving for the US the next day…

From the bottom of my heart ♡ a BIG thank you to DAZZLE! for that magic!!

and a Special Thanks to Tsuyoshi-san who made me feel so comfortable and HAPPY even after Nata-san had to leave (he got a nasty cold coming down) and I had to stay alone !
NOW I only wish time could fly really FAST, so I could be back in Japan and see them again!!
I will post some photos too..maybe not tonight but for sure
before the WORLD ceases to exist on Friday…. 2012-12-21

I just wanted to post it now, because I realized I had no recent photo of him on the blog, and I don’t have time to edit anymore of the photos from Saturday …
He, and the other members in Vorchaos, are especially close to my heart today!
yuzo-san has the lovliest of smiles and I really hope many of you get to see them live on stage because it is truly heart warming and metal rocking at the same time!
I wish them all a good time until I can see them again!

My Live gigs this year in Japan isn’t quite yet over yet though…
Tomorrow night is another band that I have in my heart (…so happy we humans can have infinite space for LOVE in our hearts!)

Next @Vorchaos member up is Fuji-san Bassist in this wonderful band

Fuji-san joined Vorchaos in February this year. And he sure is a winner, born 11-11 ^^

Vorchaos has their roots in Metal, Thrash, MetalCore,and Heavy Rock,
but take on their musical explorations with their own unique sound.
A sound I personally find very appealing, as it is heavy yet a nice clean sound that doesn’t need to hide itself… because all 5 have such great talents!

I’m sitting here trying to pack and organize my papers and belongings, because it’s time to fly again soon. I’m leaving Japan on Thursday to spend some time in the US.
I’m actually leaving the apartment already Wednesday by noon, so after tomorrow evening I won’t have the computer up again until Friday.
This means that tonight is pretty much the last chance to upload photos before I leave….
so all while packing here are some more photos of Vorchaos and the wonderful members:

Just look at these photos of JUN-san (淳)…

I mean really look at this EXPLOSION of ENERGY and ROCKING PASSION!!!

It was one rocking awesome hell of a audiorgasm this Saturday night at Crescendo in Kichijoji. They actually have had good bands every time I’ve been there for a Live Show!
This night it was time for:
Infernal Blaze / VoRCHAOS / OUTBURST /Tyrant Of Mary / Scarlet Garden

Besides my favorite guys in VoRCHAOS , I have also heard ‘Tyrant of Mary’ performing Live at Crescendo once before, and I really like them! I was also looking forward to hearing ‘Scarlet Garden’ with Kelly Simonz.

VoRCHAOS did a great performance!!

What struck me in particular this time was JUN’s voice.
It was powerful, confident and spot on.

Second: Their increasing quality of stage presence!! They get better at this every single time and this night I felt they acted as the big, confident band they are and will continue to be on their path to great success…
The kind of band that has 5 rock stars in it, who all know what they are doing,
who do what they do very very well and doing it while
ROCKING their heart out (as well as the audience!)

Third well.. KAZ keeps on giving me goosebumps of audio pleasure every single time he plays and the whole band is effing talented…

Unfortunately the not so good news is regarding my health.

He, and Vagu*Project, nailed it last night!
His voice was so strong, so powerful, and he hit every tone just right!
Think this was his best performance this fall!
I felt so empty leaving Shibuya Rex last night. A hole in my heart, that wont be recovered until I’m back here in Tokyo next year.
Ryo was cheerful, happy and so sweet , and Shinya too (even though he told me he was sleepy…. he sure didn’t look like it on stage!).
They all looked healthy, happy and did such a great performance!
Made my heart so happy!
I will keep the images from last night imprinted in my heart until I see them again!
LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

I will post more photos from ALL the recent live gigs… promise and I’m working on it !
BUT while working on the images I do come across some photos that I just feel the urge to share right away..
Here are two of those… KAZ-san a totally AMAZING guitarist.…and he gets better every time I see them on stage…which ought to be impossible rather soon…
They are ALL skilled, they really are, and part of the reason why I like them so much.

Keep you eyes open I will post a few sound clips for you guys, so even if you are not in Japan you will have a chance to hear them. I’d say check back here no later than Friday (11-30) and it should be up ..
Meanwhile I will continue to work on the images….
There has been many live gigs lately (tonight I went to see HERNIA_44 another AWESOME band!)
and tomorrow it’s time for Vagu*Project again (just 4 days later….!!!
I barely have time to transfer all photos from the camera to the computer, let alone edit them for publishing….

Besides being a passionate performer on stage, his HAIR definitely makes me totally absorbed, and I can totally just look at it while listening to the music.
His hair is part of his artistic statement!
I talked with him a little bit about it after the Live, and he says it actually slaps him pretty hard in the face… well no wonder .. and yet he does it!
It sure is part of a totally attractive SHOW!

Here they are again… DAZZLE!
Have you become bedazzled yet?

Guess I have…. I had many photos this time that were especially suitable for a posterization filter. So quite a few images are posterized like this one above.
Also this time I was standing closer to ATSUMI (bass) so I hope you don’t mind a bunch of photos of the sweet and cool looking ATSUMI.

This November 13 evening at 大塚 Hearts+ also hosted the single release of a band called
GURIGULA
and I will post some about them right after the DAZZLE! photos.
It was also an evening with a ind of funky mix, in that the styles/genre of the performing artists varied a lot!!
O.A GURIGULA (アコースティック) / GE3Kroid / Toshiya（共存）/ dibs / DAZZLE / Crow×Class～黒鴉組～ / GURIGULA

GE3Kroid - A cool DJ with really nice light show and performing in white which really makes a nice visual impact… and ha ha talking visual impact… he is a good looking guy and he did well getting people pumped up… It’s impossible NOT to move your body when he is blasting it out….

1. We got the most amazingly sweet gift at the live gig tonight from Tsuyoshi-san (Keyboard) in DAZZLE! He is one sweet person! » 饅頭 (まんじゅう Manjū ) confection ….sweeeeeeet !!

2. Natha and Annika and I were really happy and excited…….

3. However, Natha-san is a cookie and cake-monster…We had tried to keep them away from him all evening long… now here we are on our way home… close to Otsuka station…

4. Natha-san got ONE in the end…. soooooo delicious!!!
