Next band up this evening was “D.R. Lilac”

Phoe-Lo really liked them and I must agree they had skilled members and the female vocalist (Natsuki) was really good. Unfortunately a few of the guitar solos, which were really good, totally drowned due to the poor sound mixing…
Their stage presence was rather professional too and they even joked around with each other on stage. The bassist especially seemed to be a little prankster…
Yeah, all good, just not my kind of music… but as I said me and Phoe-Lo tend to like different bands so if you have followed my blog and noticed that you more often agree with her taste and opinions, then you should check this band out.

for me they sounded a bit too … hmm… common… like not unique enough, and maybe too much pop sound for me personally…there are so many bands with similar sound.. but yes the female vocalist sure added some spice and finesse to their sound so yes Go ahead and listen!

“Fake Over” band nr 3 we didn’t really see much of, because we needed a break. I couldn’t find a web site for them either but they have an Ameba page with info here:

After “Fake Over” a band called “LEG’end PRIMe” entered the stage. Here is were it’s typical for me and Phoe-Lo, she didn’t care much about these guys but I loved them!
They reminded me a bit about UVERWorld .
Maybe extra much so because for me LEG’end PRIMe’s vocalist “Taka” immedaitely made me think of UVERWorld’s Takuya∞ 
I liked this band so much that I will definitely buy their music, and I actually planned on checking out their table after the last band,  BUT life wanted differently and Phoe-Lo and I left when the last band was finishing their last song.
Funny thing too was that when I read about them on their site

I did find out that they actually like UVERWorld.. so maybe it was more to it than the look of the vocalist….?!
I want to go see them again on Sunday.
They have a LIVE at Chelsea Hotel this Sunday June 3rd,  so if you want to go with me drop me a line on Facebook or here :D

 Now ….Vagu*Project with Ryo sporting a new hair color!! and LOTS of feathers. 
I was a little skeptic at first I must admit, especially since I was really fond of his long blonde hair and kind of sad when he cut it off. Then after seeing him a few times with the shorter hair, and especially when talking to him off stage, and being closer than when he is on stage, I got to really like it.
I usually have no problem at all with change. I thrive on it rather, and get rather bored if things stay the same for too long. BUT that said I also really like men with long hair... soo…
but yes the shorter hair cut did his face good and he does look healthier and better in it…
then now what … Orange??  WTF Ryo??  was my first thought. ha ha ..  but really it does look very good on stage and it does fit their image and style very well and with the feathers up there
He looked AWESOME actually!!

And who said he doesn’t sing? LOL For those of you who remember there is a video clip from where YuI teases Ryo about the singing and they both crack up laughing really loud.
Just look at this!!!  Ryo is really giving it all!!
